Roles & Responsibilities

Housekeepers shall be available in from 08.30 AM to 05.30 PM. On Govt. Holidays will work from 8.30am to 12.30pm)

Routine maintenance activities relating to the general upkeep of the property are programmed on a regular basis – daily, bi-weekly, weekly, etc. there are maintenance activities that occur outside of a formal work order system and for which no specific maintenance records are kept. Listed below are some of the maintenance activities as per our agenda.

Daily cleaning:

  • Sweeping, wet mopping, dry mopping of all the staircases, lobbies, lift, lift lobbies, main entrance lobbies etc.
  • Car parking area, basement, electrical room, pump room, etc.,
  • Cleaning elevator cabin walls and flooring.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting the common toilets.
  • Periodic cleaning of pavement / road adjoining the building.
  • Shall also dispose waste – wet, biological waste and the dry waste in the appropriate location as designated by the association.
  • Regular Cleaning of Clubhouse facilities.

Weekly cleaning:

  • Cleaning of light fixtures, below staircase, passage area, skirting, ceiling corners, etc.
  • Cleaning of staircase grills and hand railings.
  • Removal of cob webs.
  • Elevator cleaning, dusting of ceiling light, wiping down interior and exterior wall and mirror surfaces, wiping down the control panels, elevator door tracks, etc.

Fortnightly cleaning:

  • Cleaning of terraces and lift machine room.
  • Washing of the basements, common area
  • Cleaning of all common area glass (internal)

Monthly cleaning:

  • Washing and scrubbing (manually) of the staircases, lobbies etc. with the necessary soaps, detergents, etc.,
  • Furthermore,
  • Records shall be maintained with regards to staff attendance, stock inventories, material utilization, requisition slips, etc.,
  • The housekeeping personnel, their daily turn-out, uniforms, etc., their daily activities shall be monitored by the concerned supervisor on site.
  • Garbage will be collected regularly everyday from each apartment and from all common area and shall be disposed off promptly without fail.
  • Weekly off will be given as per the schedule.
